How Moon Sweepers Worlds Are Hosted Today

One player creates or loads a world and invites friends through Steam. That host's machine runs the session and stores the world, so the session ends when the host quits. The 1.0.3 notes share the host's Upgrade Matrix with the whole crew, and the host can kick or ban players from the crew menu.

Several fan sites say the same, and none links a developer announcement. Treat any paid "Moon Sweepers server" offer as unverified until DragDrop Games announces one on Steam.

Keeping a Crew World Running Without a Server

Pick the friend with the most stable connection and the most free time as host. Everyone must run the same game version to join, so update through Steam before each session.

If people cannot connect, work through the co-op not working checklist before blaming the host's PC. To pass a world to a new host, the current host can copy the save folder and send it over; test the copy in a separate slot first.
