Moon Sweepers Download: Official Steam Route

Moon Sweepers Download Facts at a Glance

These are the download facts we could verify for this page. They come from the official Steam listing and Steam's own support pages. Each point is explained in more detail below.

• Official source: Steam, app 5335510, from DragDrop Games.
• Store status: coming soon at our October 22, 2026 check.
• Planned release: October 23, 2026.
• Supported system: Windows PC; macOS and Linux are marked unsupported.
• Disk space: 2 GB minimum, 4 GB recommended.
• Standalone installer or torrent: none verified.

The Official Download Source

Moon Sweepers is developed and published by DragDrop Games and distributed on Steam. The official trailer and teaser descriptions both link to the same Steam app. We found no standalone official installer and no other official distribution channel.

That makes the Steam store page the one place to start. You can open it from the link in the sources list at the end of this page. Searching for a download elsewhere is more likely to lead you to unofficial copies that nobody can verify.

Can You Download It Before Release?

At our check, the store marked Moon Sweepers as coming soon. A coming-soon game can be wishlisted, but the listing did not establish that it could already be installed. We also could not verify whether a preload option will be offered.

The planned release date on Steam is October 23, 2026. After the game is released and you own it, the install option becomes available through Steam. Until then, adding it to your wishlist is the way to get notified.

Disk Space Is Not the Same as Download Size

The store lists a minimum of 2 GB of free disk space and 4 GB recommended. Those are space requirements, not a measured download size. The actual download and the final installed size had not been verified at our check.

Leaving the recommended space free is the safer choice. Steam also needs some room to download and unpack updates. If space is tight, clear room before you start the install so it does not stop halfway.

Windows PC Is the Only Supported System

Steam's platform data marks Windows as supported and both macOS and Linux as unsupported. There is no announced console version, so a PS5 or Xbox download does not exist. Our PS5 and Xbox pages explain the console status in detail.

Check the full system requirements on the store page before buying. Those requirements describe what the game needs on a Windows PC. They are the best guide to whether your machine is ready to run it.

Installing Through the Steam Library

After purchase and release, Moon Sweepers appears in your Steam Library. Select it there and use the install option to choose where it is stored. Steam then downloads the game and keeps it updated for you.

Installing through Steam also connects you to the game's Steam features. That includes the official community discussions, where announcements and player reports appear. It is also the right place to report a problem with the game itself.

If the Download Fails

Valve documents Steam download and installation problems on its Update & Installation Issues support page. That page covers diagnostics for the Steam client itself. It is the right place to start when a download stalls or will not begin.

Those steps troubleshoot Steam, not a specific Moon Sweepers bug. If the game installs but then has problems, Steam's file verification tool is another general check. We cover how to run it on our co-op not working page.

What to Do After Installing

Moon Sweepers starts you off with a toothbrush and a Moon covered in dust. The confirmed loop is to clean, collect, deliver the dust to a depot and launch a shipment to get paid. Our beginner guide explains each confirmed step.

You can play alone or join friends in online co-op for up to 16 players. Each player needs their own copy of the game on Steam. Our multiplayer page covers what is confirmed about playing together.

Download Details Still Unconfirmed

A few download details could not be confirmed before release. We list them here instead of guessing. Each will be added once it is visible on Steam or measured on a released build.

• The actual download size.
• Whether a preload will be offered.
• The final installed size.
• Installer behaviour on launch day.
• Any additional official distribution channel.

Languages and Store Features

The live Steam data lists 19 interface languages for Moon Sweepers. The store also lists controller features separately from platform support. Check both sections on the store page if language or controller support matters to you.

These details apply to the Windows PC version, the only one confirmed. No console download exists, regardless of controller support. If you need a specific language, confirm it in the store's language table before buying.

Official Moon Sweepers Channels

DragDrop Games is listed on Steam as both the developer and the publisher of Moon Sweepers. The official channels we could verify are the Steam store page, the Steam community discussions and the MoonSweepers YouTube channel. The YouTube channel is linked directly from the Steam store, which is why we treat it as official.

Steam's website field for the game points to a Discord server, but we could not verify that invite. We therefore do not link it on this site. If a preload or launch update is announced, expect to see it on the verified channels first.

Avoid Unofficial Download Sites

No developer-authorized torrent or alternative installer was verified. Files from unofficial sites cannot be checked by us, by the developer or by Steam. Our torrent page explains this in more detail.

The price had also not been published at our check, and the game is not listed as free. Anyone offering a free full download is therefore not an official source. See our price page for the confirmed status.
