Switch and Switch 2 Status
The developer's launch announcement names Windows PC and Steam. The current Steam listing still identifies Windows as the supported operating system. Neither checked source announces a Nintendo edition. Steam's operating-system fields do not describe console plans, so this is an unannounced port, not evidence that one has been cancelled.
- Nintendo Switch: no confirmed release date in the checked official sources.
- Nintendo Switch 2: no confirmed release date in the checked official sources.
- Windows PC: released October 23, 2026 on Steam, app 5335510.
- Nintendo price, preorders and PC crossplay: unconfirmed.
What Would Confirm a Nintendo Release?
Look for an announcement from DragDrop Games naming the console and a Nintendo eShop product page identifying the same developer and game. A retailer placeholder, a controller icon or a video with Switch in its title does not establish a port.
Do not use a Steam key as a Nintendo purchase. It activates the PC edition through Steam. Our price page explains the current PC price, while PS5 and Xbox have their own platform checks.
Steam Deck Is a Different Handheld Question
If you own a Steam Deck, the Windows release and Proton compatibility are relevant. The developer's 1.0.4 patch specifically addresses startup problems on Steam Deck and Linux with older Proton versions. That fix does not create a Switch build or establish a Valve Verified rating.
Read the Steam Deck compatibility and startup checks before choosing the PC version for handheld play. We have not measured frame rates or battery life.
What Nintendo Players Would Be Waiting For
Moon Sweepers is the lunar cleaning game where you begin with a toothbrush, sell collected dust and buy better equipment. Steam advertises solo play and online co-op for up to 16 players. Those are PC features; a future console edition would need its own confirmed feature list.
