Is Moon Sweepers on Xbox? Platform Status

Moon Sweepers Xbox Status at a Glance

These are the facts we could verify for this page. Each one comes from the official Steam listing or a source that agrees with it. The sections below explain each point.

• Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One: no version announced.
• Game Pass: no inclusion announced.
• Confirmed platform: Windows PC on Steam, app 5335510.
• Planned Steam release: October 23, 2026, listed as coming soon at our check.
• Controller features: listed separately on Steam and apply to the PC version.
• Multiplayer: solo play and online co-op for up to 16 players on the Steam release.

The Verified Platform Is Windows PC on Steam

Moon Sweepers is a DragDrop Games title sold through Steam as app 5335510. The store's platform flags mark Windows as supported, while macOS and Linux are marked as unsupported. At our check the game was still listed as coming soon, with a planned release on October 23, 2026.

Those platform flags only cover PC operating systems. They do not describe consoles at all, so they cannot prove that an Xbox version will never happen. What they do confirm is that Windows PC is the version you can wishlist and follow today.

No Xbox Store Listing or Console Release Date

We found no Xbox Store product page for Moon Sweepers in the checked sources. There is no announced release date for Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One, and no console price. Without a store listing, there is no Xbox version to pre-order, wishlist or buy.

We also found no announcement of console crossplay. The game's online co-op for up to 16 players is advertised for the Steam release. Any details about Xbox players joining PC sessions would require an official console announcement first.

Xbox Controller Support Is Not an Xbox Version

The Steam store lists controller features separately from the platforms a game supports. That separation matters, because controller support on PC is easy to mistake for a console release. It only describes how you can play the Windows edition with a gamepad.

If you want to play with an Xbox controller, check the controller section on the Steam store page. You would still be running the PC version through Steam on a Windows computer. Controller support does not establish an Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One edition.

Game Pass and Play Anywhere Are Not Announced

We found no announcement that Moon Sweepers is coming to Game Pass on console or PC. We also found no mention of Xbox Play Anywhere support. Both would normally be stated on an official store page or in a developer announcement.

Until one of those appears, treat any Game Pass claim as unverified. The purchase route confirmed by the developer is the Steam store page. If that changes, we will add the source and the date to this page so you can check it yourself.

What Release Reports and Trailers Show

The GamesFinity launch report from October 14, 2026, describes a PC launch and gives no Xbox release date. A Finnish industry roundup, Neogames Finland's Weekly News 42/26, separately lists the planned Steam release with solo and co-op support. Neither source mentions an Xbox version.

The official trailer and a teaser upload both point viewers to Steam, and the teaser lists Windows. Neither video description mentions Xbox availability. Video uploads repeat promotional material, so they are useful context rather than platform news.

Playing With Friends Who Use Xbox

Moon Sweepers supports solo play and online co-op for up to 16 players in total. Because the confirmed version is on Steam, friends would need the Windows PC version to join you. Cross-play with Xbox consoles has not been announced.

If your group is split between PC and Xbox, the PC players are the ones who can play together today. Our Moon Sweepers multiplayer page covers what is and is not confirmed about co-op. That includes the open questions about hosting and shared progress.

What the PC Version Offers

The Steam listing describes a lunar cleanup job that starts with a toothbrush. You collect lunar dust, deliver it to depots and launch shipments to get paid. That money buys better tools, larger carrying capacity and, later, cleaning vehicles.

The store also lists 19 interface languages and a minimum of 2 GB of free disk space, with 4 GB recommended. Our Moon Sweepers download page explains the official install route. It is the version to look at if you have access to a Windows PC.

What Is Still Unconfirmed About Xbox

Some questions can only be answered by an official Xbox announcement. None of the sources we checked addressed them. We keep them here as open items so you know exactly what is missing.

• An Xbox Store listing.
• Release plans for Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S.
• Game Pass inclusion.
• Xbox Play Anywhere support.
• Crossplay between Xbox consoles and PC.

Official Moon Sweepers Channels

DragDrop Games is listed on Steam as both the developer and the publisher of Moon Sweepers. The official channels we could verify are the Steam store page, the Steam community discussions and the MoonSweepers YouTube channel. The YouTube channel is linked directly from the Steam store, which is why we treat it as official.

Steam's website field for the game points to a Discord server, but we could not verify that invite. We therefore do not link it on this site. If an Xbox version is announced, expect to see it on the verified channels first.

How to Follow Moon Sweepers Until Then

The safest way to stay informed is to wishlist the game on Steam and follow the official Moon Sweepers YouTube channel. The Steam community hub is also where announcements and player reports appear. A genuine Xbox release would come with an Xbox Store listing you can open and check.

We recheck the official listing whenever we update this page. The date at the top tells you when these facts were last verified. If you see an official Xbox announcement, let us know through our contact page and we will confirm it.
