Is Moon Sweepers on PS5? Confirmed Platforms

Moon Sweepers PS5 Status at a Glance

Here is the short version of everything we verified for this page. Each point comes from the official Steam listing or a source that matches it. The details follow in the sections below.

• PS5 version: not announced, and no PlayStation Store page was found.
• Confirmed platform: Windows PC on Steam, app 5335510.
• macOS and Linux: marked as unsupported on the Steam listing.
• Planned Steam release: October 23, 2026, still listed as coming soon at our check.
• Controller support: listed separately on Steam and applies to the PC version only.
• Developer and publisher: DragDrop Games.

What the Official Steam Listing Shows

Moon Sweepers is developed and published by DragDrop Games, and its official home is Steam app 5335510. The store's platform data marks Windows as supported, while macOS and Linux are both marked as unsupported. At our check the listing showed a planned release date of October 23, 2026, and the game was still flagged as coming soon.

Steam's platform fields only describe PC operating systems, so they say nothing either way about consoles. That is why we describe PS5 as unconfirmed rather than cancelled. An absent announcement is not the same thing as a decision against a console release, and we will not present it as one.

No PlayStation Store Page or PS5 Release Date

We found no PlayStation Store product page for Moon Sweepers in any of the sources we checked. There is also no PS5 release date, no console price and no console publisher announcement. Without any of these, there is nothing to pre-order or wishlist on a PlayStation console today.

A launch report from GamesFinity, published on October 14, 2026, also names PC as the announced platform. It does not mention a PS5 date or a PlayStation Store listing either. We only keep statements from that report that match the official Steam listing, and we discard the parts that are speculation.

PlayStation Controller Support Is Not a PS5 Version

Steam lists controller features separately from the operating systems a game runs on. Seeing controller support on a store page can make it look as if a console version is on the way. In practice, controller support only describes how you can play the Windows version with a gamepad.

If you own a PlayStation controller, check the controller section of the Steam store page to see how it works with the PC edition. Playing with a PlayStation pad on PC still means buying and running the Steam version on a Windows computer. It does not give you access to Moon Sweepers on a PS5 console.

What the Trailers Say About Platforms

The official Moon Sweepers trailer, published on the MoonSweepers YouTube channel on October 8, 2026, sends viewers to Steam. A separate teaser upload titled “Coming Oct 23, 2026” names Windows as the platform. Neither video description announces a PS5 launch or links to a PlayStation page.

Trailer uploads tend to repeat the same promotional material, so they add context rather than fresh platform news. Release dates in video titles refer to the Steam launch, not to consoles. Treat any PS5 claim in a third-party upload with caution unless it links to an official announcement you can open yourself.

Cross-Play and Console Pricing Are Not Confirmed

Because there is no PS5 version, there is also no confirmed cross-platform play between PlayStation and PC. The game's online co-op for up to 16 players is advertised for the Steam release. Any cross-play details would first need an official console announcement, followed by a console store page.

The same applies to pricing, since no console price exists yet. At our check, Steam had not exposed a purchasable price for the PC version either. Our Moon Sweepers price page tracks what has actually been confirmed and when it was checked.

How to Play Moon Sweepers Today

The only verified way to play is the Windows PC version on Steam. The store lists a minimum of 2 GB of free disk space, with 4 GB recommended, and 19 interface languages. Solo play is supported, and so is online co-op for up to 16 players.

If you mainly play on PS5, you can still wishlist the game on Steam to follow its release. Steam also hosts the official community discussions for the game. Those discussions and the store page are where a platform change would most likely show up first.

What You Would Be Playing

Moon Sweepers is a space cleaning simulation in which your first tool is a toothbrush. You clean dusty lunar terrain, bring the collected dust to a depot and launch shipments to get paid. The earnings go into better tools, more carrying capacity and cleaning vehicles.

That loop is the same whichever controller you use on PC. Our beginner guide walks through every confirmed step of it. It is a good way to decide whether the game is worth a PC purchase while you wait for console news.

What Is Still Unconfirmed About PS5

Several details would only exist once a PlayStation version is officially announced. We have not seen any of them in the checked sources. Until they appear, we list them here as open questions rather than facts.

• A PS5 release date or release window.
• A console publisher announcement.
• A PlayStation Store product page.
• A console price.
• Cross-platform play between PS5 and PC.

Where to Watch for a PS5 Announcement

A real PS5 release would come with a PlayStation Store product page and an announcement from DragDrop Games. Keep an eye on the Steam store page, its community hub and the official Moon Sweepers YouTube channel. A console store page with a price and a date is the clearest proof you can get.

We recheck the official listing and update this page when platform information changes. The date at the top shows when these facts were last verified. If you see an official PS5 announcement before we do, send it to us through our contact page and we will check it.
