Vehicle Unlocks at a Glance
The feature is confirmed, but the route to it is not. Here is the line between the two. Each point is explained below.
- Confirmed: cleaning vehicles can be unlocked.
- Confirmed: vehicles become usable as the operation develops.
- Not verified: the first vehicle's requirement.
- Not verified: the menu path, price or prerequisite upgrades.
- Not verified: how unlocks work in co-op.
What the Official Description Says
The Steam short description uses unlock language for cleaning vehicles. The detailed description connects equipment progression to the growing operation. Neither names a required level, quest, building or button sequence.
A teaser upload also mentions vehicle unlocks in its description. It confirms the feature without giving any conditions. The GamesFinity launch report places vehicles in progression too, but it cannot confirm a specific unlock step.
Why We Do Not Publish Unlock Steps Yet
An unlock guide is only useful if it is correct. Without a captured unlock screen and steps that can be repeated, any tutorial would be a guess. We would rather tell you that than send you chasing the wrong goal.
Once the game is released, we will record the unlock screen and the exact steps. Each result will name the build it was tested on. Only then will this page include a step-by-step section.
How Progression Leads Toward Vehicles
The confirmed loop is the only path we can describe. You clean with a toothbrush, collect dust, deliver it to a depot and launch shipments to get paid. That money buys better tools and more carrying capacity.
The developer links vehicles to this growing operation. That suggests progressing through the loop is what moves you toward them. The exact milestone, though, was not verified.
Saving Money for a Vehicle
We cannot confirm that vehicles are bought with money. No vehicle price or purchase menu appears in the official materials. A vehicle might need a different kind of requirement.
If you want to be ready, the confirmed way to earn is shipping dust. Our how to make money page explains that loop. It applies whatever the final unlock rule turns out to be.
Is There a Level Requirement?
No level requirement was confirmed in the sources we checked. The detailed description mentions no level system for vehicles. We cannot say whether one exists.
Be careful with guides that quote a level or a price for the first vehicle. Ask which build they tested and whether they show the unlock screen. Unverified numbers are easy to repeat and hard to correct later.
Vehicle Unlocks in Co-op
Moon Sweepers supports online co-op for up to 16 players. We have not verified whether a vehicle unlocked by one player is available to the whole crew. We also do not know if unlocks carry over between sessions.
Save ownership in co-op was not documented either. That affects who keeps progress after a session ends. Our multiplayer page will add it once confirmed.
What Vehicles Do Once Unlocked
This page focuses on unlocking, not on what each vehicle does. Vehicle names, capacity, speed and cleaning coverage were not verified. Our cleaning vehicles page covers the vehicles themselves.
We also have not confirmed how a vehicle is delivered or spawned after unlocking. That will be part of the tested guide. Until then, the honest answer is that it is unknown.
Unlock Details Still Unconfirmed
These are the details a complete unlock guide needs. None were answered by the sources we checked. We will fill them in after testing the released build.
- The first vehicle's requirement.
- The menu path.
- The price.
- Prerequisite upgrades.
- Who owns the unlock in co-op.
- How the vehicle spawns or is delivered.
Official Moon Sweepers Channels
DragDrop Games is listed on Steam as both the developer and the publisher of Moon Sweepers. The official channels we could verify are the Steam store page, the Steam community discussions and the MoonSweepers YouTube channel. Equipment changes and patch notes would most likely appear there first.
Steam's website field for the game points to a Discord server, but we could not verify that invite. We therefore do not link it on this site. Player posts on any channel are reports, not official statements, unless a developer identity is confirmed.
Common Unlock Mistakes
The first mistake is following an unlock guide that shows no unlock screen. Without that evidence, a quoted level or price may simply be invented. Ask which build the guide used.
The second mistake is assuming vehicles cost money. No vehicle price or purchase menu was verified. The confirmed point is only that vehicles unlock as the operation develops.
Why Equipment Details Are Still Missing
At our October 22, 2026 check, Moon Sweepers was still listed on Steam as coming soon, with a planned release on October 23, 2026. The equipment details players want most come from playing the released build. Official descriptions and trailers only cover the broad systems.
Pre-release footage can also differ from the final game. That is why we do not read item stats from trailers. Once the game is out, we will test equipment directly and date every value we add.
Preparing for Your First Vehicle
Even without a confirmed unlock route, you can work toward vehicles. The developer ties them to a growing operation, and the confirmed way to grow is the dust loop. Keep collecting, delivering and shipping.
Reinvest in the two confirmed upgrades, better tools and more carrying capacity. Placing depots near your work also keeps each cycle short. These steps are useful whatever the final unlock rule turns out to be.
